| Since
its founding in 1919, the Westchester County Board of REALTORS®(WCBR)
has been a consistent champion and provider of professional real estate
education. The Board established the School of Real Estate in 1975. Since
that time, the School’s two full-time deans have both received high
honors from the Real Estate Educators Association and have authored or contributed
to textbooks that are in use today. The National Association of REALTORS®
presented the School with its “Outstanding Program” award five
times out of a possible six. |
| The
School serves the education needs of the members of the Board of REALTORS®,
offers courses to individuals interested in pursuing a real estate career
and provides public service seminars. Program instructors are chosen both
for expertise in their field and the ablity to communicate that expertise.
WCBR faculty was responsible for writing most of the New York State pre-licensing
course curriculum. The School services an average of 3,000 persons yearly, placing it among the top three real estate education providers in the state. Whenever there is a need for real estate information and education, the WCBR School of Real Estate is there to provide it. |
